Getting Started with a QMP Program |

Sound Strategy, Rapid Results, Lasting Impact™ |
|
Getting started with a QMP marketing & sales excellence, corporate cultural transformation or turn-around program is relatively easy and no risk. The most important objectives at the beginning of a program are; 1) building confidence among the executive team in the content, applicability, beneficial outcomes and economic value to the firm of deploying QMP processes, tools, disciplines and systems and 2) gaining commitment to its successful deployment.
Most successful clients have followed the simple steps that follow:
· Schedule an interactive executive work session to introduce the process, its benefits, value to the firm, demonstrate content and answer any questions about applicability and deployment (1–day, no charge)
· Phase 1: Strategy Formulation and Process Training
· Conduct a 4-hour executive team working session to define specific program objectives, desired outcomes and formulate a customized deployment roadmap, milestones and calendar · A two-day off-site strategy formulation and process introduction workout with the executive staff
By the end of Phase 1, your business has: a) a reformulated, optimized market strategy and improved market focus, b) a business development initiative framework with which to launch market strategy initiatives and c) a disciplined sales process. Customers may, at this point, choose to proceed with deployment on their own, using the QMP process, tools, systems and disciplines for a small one-year renewable license fee or engage QMP to assist in deployment of Phase 2.
· Phase 2: Deployment & Value Assurance Support Program
· QMP deployment specialists provide 13, 26 or 52 weeks of on-site and field deployment assistance with clear milestones, deliverables, checkpoints and progress metrics · At the end of each 90-day period, QMP leads a formal off-site deployment update and working session. The outcome of this offsite working session is a set of strategy, deployment and re-source adjustments to assure ultimate success of the program.
Clients can stop after any phase—however measurable impact is usually not seen until after 13 weeks. Permanent cultural change and process acculturation usually takes a minimum of 26 to 52 weeks.
