Studies have shown that companies with a culture of performance excellence achieve up to 15 times greater performance in both total return to shareholders and operating income, than those who don’t have that culture in place.

The QMP Performance Excellence Program (PEP) is a one-day hands-on workshop for senior managers, owners, mid-level managers, project teams and employees. Attendees work on their own real business problems and come away with a re-energized commitment to accomplishing their objectives and a tool kit to use to super-charge the organization’s ability to get things done.

                                                              Q&A

Who should consider attending?

Any organization with the problem of consistently missing deadlines and objectives or that is afflicted by chronic problems that never seem to get fixed.

How do we assure that this learning gets traction after training?

The new tool kit applied during the workshop to company-specific challenges lays the foundation for continued efforts. All the pieces are there to use to assure traction. If, on the other hand, management feels the need for additional deployment assistance, that service is available through The QMP Group’s consulting division.

How soon after training should we start seeing results?

About 10 to 20% of attendees will “get-it” and begin to incorporate the QMP Performance Excellence program tools, techniques and systems. You should begin to see improved performance in their areas in 90 days. If there are not checkpoints scheduled for the rest of the team of attendees, deployment will lag in their areas and after 3 months learning will atrophy. A personal commitment to hands-on follow-up by the management team is required for significant traction.

What do I need to do as a senior manager or owner?:

If there is a performance and execution challenge in a company, it is rare that simply sending lower level employees, professional or non-exempt, to training will make a significant and long-lasting difference. To achieve real cultural change requires commitment and consistency of message from top level executives. It also means behavior change—at all levels.

The role of the senior manager or owner is consistency of message, visible support to efforts, creating alignment of activities and objectives and committing to, and setting expectations of all for personal as well as organizational change
