Over the past 10 years, QMP has periodically been asked to advise individuals on the key aspects of starting an independent consultancy practice. During that time we found that a number of the QMP Market Strategy, Business Development and Sales tools -  tools we use with our business-to-business clients - were extremely helpful to consultants’ practices as well. So, we decided to package these tools in a “Consultancy Navigator” program—a process for focusing, organizing, promoting and efficiently kicking off a consultancy practice. Delivered both as a tool kit / workbook, a one-day workshop or a 4-week evening series of 2-hour on-line webinars, this new program is already helping a growing number of consultancies get on track. Sessions are held on Wednesday evenings, starting at 7 PM Pacific Time and 4 PM Eastern Time and go for 2 hours each for 4 weeks. Each class series starts on the first Tuesday of each month.

 

There are also classroom session—one full day (QMP workshop schedule).

 

Electronic versions of the working papers tool kit are sent upon registration. Web-based classes are held on “GoToMeeting” and classes are limited to 6 registrants in each group to assure individualized attention. Cost is $695 either the in-class or web sessions. QMP will also provide free phone consultation between session times.
